Why we started
More visitors than ever come to Korea for medical care, and many of them come for a health checkup: thorough, quick to book and finished in a morning.
When we read what visitors wrote about checkups here, on Reddit, in travel forums and in reviews, the tests were rarely the problem. Not knowing was. Which package to choose. What costs extra. What a result means. Who to ask once you are home.
Seoul Baseline exists for that part. One person plans the checkup with you, stays with you on the day, explains your results in plain English, and is still there 90 days later.
Why “baseline”
In medicine, a baseline is your first full set of measurements: blood pressure, blood work, scans. Later results are read against it.
With a good baseline, next year's numbers mean more. You can see what changed, not only whether a number is in range. So we treat a checkup in Seoul as the start of a record, not a one-off: one morning gives you a baseline, and each year after is measured against it.
